The Dojo world refers to a set of concepts, tools, and practices associated with martial arts, but it has also evolved to encompass broader aspects of culture and personal development.
It is both a physical space and a mental framework dedicated to training, self-improvement, and respect for traditions. It embodies a fusion of physical practice, spiritual development, and learning deep values that transcend mere combat techniques.
It is on this theme that we wanted to create our Mayday Academy interface to boost your advisors' learning!
๐ฏ The avatar
On their learner profile, advisors have an avatar, a digital version of themselves in a way!
Its purpose is to enrich the user experience and promote engagement by stimulating your advisors' motivation.
By allowing them to create a character that resembles them or that they appreciate, your advisors will feel more invested in their learning activities by seeing their avatar progress.
Subsequently, your advisors will be able to unlock accessories, clothing, or animations to evolve their avatar thanks to the points they have earned!
This will encourage them to participate more actively and successfully in their training modules and courses!

Your advisors can visualize their avatar's progression on their home page with these key statistics:
Total time spent on the Academy
Average score
Number of completed, ongoing, and upcoming training (modules and courses)
๐ฏ Points earned
The Mayday Academy platform also allows earning points based on performance during training.
Each correct answer to a question during a training module (standalone or within a course) allows to win:
10 points for a normal question
20 points if you have configured doubling the points for a question
Subsequently, these points will allow your advisors to customize their avatar!

Advisors can earn badges with their avatars as they progress on the Mayday Academy.
There are several categories of badges based on actions performed by the advisors

You can customize / add / remove badges to personalize gamification according to your preferences.

Visually, these courses will be gamified in the Dojo theme. Learners will be able to see a map in which they progress step by step.

Subsequently, we would like to implement a level system for learners: the more your advisors earn points, the higher they will level up.
Leveling up will allow them to optimize their avatar and further personalize it!

Subsequently, we would also like to implement leaderboards to honor the most successful and involved learners:
Learners with more points, the most badges, the highest level, the best scores, the most completed and validated modules, and the fastest learners would be honored in a leaderboard to stimulate challenge and healthy competition among colleagues.

We also envision offering challenges among your learners to energize their learning on the Mayday Academy platform.
