⬛️ Notion Importer

Discover in this article how our Notion importer works.

You can import Notion articles as Mayday articles in just one click while preserving the original formatting.

The Notion importer allows you to integrate Notion content as a Mayday article and update it in just one click when you make changes on Notion.

It is imperative to connect Notion to your Mayday account.

To do this, consult the article ⬛️ Notion Integration

Once imported, you can decide to keep the link with the existing Notion article (to be able to synchronize it again if it evolves) or decide to break the link to edit it in Mayday!

🔀 Importing Notion content into Mayday

To integrate Notion content as a Mayday article, follow these steps:

1⃣ Step 1: go to Notion:

  1. Open the page you want to migrate to Mayday;

  2. In the upper right corner, click on "Share";

  3. Click on "Invite" and select the specific workspace for Mayday;

  4. Click again on "Invite";

  5. The page is now accessible via Mayday!

2⃣ Step 2: go to Mayday:

  1. Go to Mayday;

  2. Create an article;

  3. Click on the three dots "..." at the top right of the article;

  4. Click on "Import an article";

  5. Choose the article to import from the list provided either by entering the URL of the Notion content;

  6. Click on the icon "Import an article";

  7. Your article is imported into Mayday, faithful to the initial layout on Notion! 🥳

From the moment an integration of a Notion page is created to link with Mayday, all "child" pages of it will be automatically accessible on Mayday.

After importing your content to Mayday, two icons appear:

🔓 Unlink the article: this allows you to remove the link between Notion and Mayday and edit the content directly on Mayday.

Attention: if you activate this option, you will not be able to go back, your Mayday article will be permanently detached from Notion.

🔄 Refresh the article: this allows you to update the Mayday content based on the modifications that have been made on Notion. This option is not available if you have unlinked the Mayday article from Notion (previous point).
