👋 Introduction
Discover how to edit, organize, and maintain your shared elements to ensure their relevance over time. 🛠
🤔 How does it work?
✏ Edit a shared element
Editing works exactly like for a standard article: you have the same formatting options, the ability to add images, tables, etc. Your changes are saved automatically and instantly reflected in all the shared elements where the item is embedded.
📁 Organize
Collections allow you to structure your library by topics. You can create collections such as "Commercial Policies," "Contact Information and Hours," to intuitively organize your shared elements.
📦 Archive
When a shared element is no longer relevant, you can archive it. The element will then disappear from all the articles where it is embedded but remains accessible in the shared elements library under the "Archive" section. You can restore it at any time if necessary.
The features in your library's "Archive" section are the same as those of a knowledge base.
Quick Note
When you restore an archived shared element, it becomes available again in the library but is not automatically reinserted into the shared elements where it was previously added.
🚮 Delete
If a shared element is definitively obsolete, you can delete it. It will permanently disappear from all the articles and the library, with no possibility of restoration.
Quick Note
Before deleting a shared element, review the list of shared elements that use it to assess the impact of this action.
